Thomas Catan's article, "Spain Avoids Unrest as Economy Slumps", (May 4) refers to the fact that the huge job losses seen by the country in recent months have been borne largely by temporary workers "who aren't represented by anyone." It's worth adding that restrictive regulation surrounding temporary agency work in Spain is one of the reasons that this group of workers is faring so badly in the current economic downturn.....
